Emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald in an open back rubover millegrain setting with a weight of 0.50 carats and fourteen calibré cut emeralds in six channel set rows in rubover millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate weight of emeralds is 1.20 carats. Further set with two round old cut diamonds in grain set millegrain box collets with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, and twelve round old cut diamonds to a surrounding cluster in open back grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats, to an ornate openwork cluster with intricate piercing and scrolling engraved shoulders, with circular cheniers and open backholing, leading to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
