Set vertically with four round old cutdiamonds in open backrubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, surrounded by thirty eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a total weight of 1.10 carats and further set with twenty tapered calibre cut naturalemeralds in open back channel settings with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats. The combined approximate diamond weight is 1.70 carats, to a fancy rectangular cluster design featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, flanked by split leaf shaped trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905.
