Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, L colour, VVS2 clarity, with a weight of 3.66 carats, in an open back claw setting, further enhanced with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.72 carats, to an elegant solitaire design with an ornate pierced collet, fancy shape backholing and cheniers to the gently sloping shoulders which terminate in a slim D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by HRD Antwerp report #180000075762.
