Description

Edwardian diamond solitaire engagement ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, K colour, VVS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.91 carats, in an open back claw setting, further adorned by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.95 carats, to an elegant solitaire featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders with a foliate design flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #1182959366.
