Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegantly pierced open circular collet featuring split stylised claws, decorative scrolling and shaped backholing, flanked to either side with fine inwardly tapering shoulders which curve to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, numbered '2358', circa 1910.
