Edwardian diamond ring. Set with three round old cut diamonds in open back rubover millegrain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, encircled by a row of round single cut diamonds, further diamonds set to the shoulders, all forty eight in total in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats, to an openwork vertical cluster with an ornate pierced gallery and backholing, flanked by elegant split shoulders and leading down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked white gold and platinum, French control marks, circa 1905.
