Description
Edwardiandiamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, approximately P-Q colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 3.35 carats, in an open backclaw setting, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats and six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.45 carats, to an ornate flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a decorative collet and pierced open backholing, the fancy trumpeting tulip shaped shoulders which lead through to a solid D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat rose gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-8046.
