Edwardian diamond flanked solitiare ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old mine diamond, K colour, SI1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.34 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.40 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire featuring millegrain edging, a structurally pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders flowing though to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2205639656.
