Edwardian diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond K colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.00 carat in an open back claw setting, flanked by two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.02 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.02 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by elegant tri-split shoulders with foliate motifs and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #3405256885.
