Edwardian diamond earrings. A matching pair, each set centrally with a cushion shape old mine diamond in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and claw settings, sixteen in total with a combined weight of 0.64 carats, suspended from one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total, with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.04 carats, to an articulated drop earring flowing with movement featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1915.
