A matching pair, each set to bottom with one cushion shape old mine diamond, one J colour, SI2 clarity, with a weight of 1.43 carats, one I colour, SI1 clarity, with a weight of 1.36 carats, in an open back eight claw setting, each further set with twelve cushion shape old cutdiamonds in open back claw and cutdown settings, twenty four in total with a combined weight of 2.30 carats, highlighted with four cushion shape eight cut diamonds in open back cutdown settings, eight in total, with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.17 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring, flowing with movement, featuring an openwork floral design and fancy pierced backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure shepherd's hook, approximately 4.4cm in length to top of hook. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by a fitted box and HRD Antwerp report #180000145777 and #180000145778.
