 Description

Edwardian diamond drop earrings. A matching pair, each set to bottom with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back grain and rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, the top set with six graduating round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, twelve in total with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an elegant drop earring with a circular surmount suspending an articulated triangular central plaque with further drop tulip motif, all to polished borders and intricately pierced backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 3cm in length. Marked 18 carat gold and silver, English hallmarks for London, circa 1905.
