Edwardian diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, surrounded by six round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an ornate cluster design featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, a pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to shoulders engraved with a foliate motif and flowing through to a tapering D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910.
