Edwardian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in open back grain settings, with an approximate weight of 0.30 carats, set further with eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings, with a combined weight of 0.55 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.85 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring milgrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by raised inwardly tapering shoulders that flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, tested platinum, circa 1915.
