Edwardian diamond and calibré emerald cluster ring. Set with a central marquise shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover millegrain setting with a weight of 0.40 carats, flanked by two curved rows of channel set calibré cut emeralds in open back rubover millegrain settings, all ten with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by forty eight round old cut diamonds of varying sizes in open back grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.96 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.36 carats, to an elegant curving cluster with intricate pierced rows throughout, cheniers to the openwork conforming gallery and pierced backholing, flowing down to engraved shoulders and a solid flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
