Edwardian Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, flanked by two oval old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.85 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring split curving claws, pierced gallery and shaped open backholing leading to graceful tapering shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing through to a solid slim tappering shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79203-42.
