Early Victorian topaz and diamond pendant. Set to centre with a drop shape old cut natural topaz in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.50 carats, encircled by a single row of thirteen round rose cut diamonds in closed back cutdown settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant openwork drop shape cluster with articulated etched and fluted triangular loop to top with yellow gold reverse. Tested gold and silver, circa 1840.
