E & F Bauer ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set horizontally with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced siam rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, adorned further with four round eight cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a total approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to a graduating three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders with carved detail leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, makers mark for 'E & F Bauer', hallmarks for Birmingham, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemological Certifications Services report #81318-39.
