Art Deco Burmese sapphire and diamond drop earrings. A matching pair, each suspending a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting, two in total with a combined weight of 1.80 carats, one fitted to top with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.60 carats, the other fitted to top with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.74 carats, each decorated withan octagonal emerald-cut diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.04 carats, and further set with a rectangular baguette cut diamond in an open back half rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 3.14 carats, the total approximate diamond weight is 1.54 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring, flowing with movement featuring intricately carved collets, curving claws, polished borders and geometric backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 3.3cm in length. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gem Research Swiss Lab (GRS) reports #GRS2016-120386, #GRS2016-120385 and GRS2016-120388.
