Set with one round old cut diamond in a closed back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and closed backholig, leading to inwardly tapering raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'J F', French, circa 1970.
