Description

Diamond set dress ring, circa 1940. A yellow and white gold dress ring set with one central round old cut diamond bead set in a white gold box collet with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, set to top and bottom with two scallop shell forms each set with a white gold bead, and flanked by two round old cut diamonds surrounded by stylized petals and in white gold claw settings with an approximate total weight of 0.20 carats, with raised tapered scrolled shoulders supported by cheniers and each set with three graduated beads, all on a flat shank.
