Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, flanked by six cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.72 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring split curving claws and millegrain edging, a pierced openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested rose gold, settings tested platinum, circa 1915.
