Diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, further set with two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.03, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by openwork raised shoulders flowing through to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, tested platinum, English, circa 1920.
