Edwardian diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, I colour, VVS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.43 carats, in an open back claw setting, additionally set to the shoulders with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.51 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design with split claws, scalloped collet and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by tapering openwork shoulders with finely pierced S-scrolls, flowing through to a solid D-shape shank enhanced with engraved scroll motifs.
