Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set to centre with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 2.10 carats, flanked by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.50 carats, to an elegant crossover design with curving claws and polished edges, an intricately carved gallery with open backholing, the inward scrolled shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum and yellow gold, circa 1905.
