Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set to centre with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.10 carats, flanked by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.50 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring curving claws, an intricately carved gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to inwardly scrolled shoulders that taper through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum and yellow gold, makers mark for WM Wise & Sons, American, circa 1900.
