Diamondcocktail ring. Set with eleven round brilliant cutdiamonds to a central bombé form and two to the far shoulders with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, encircled by two diagonally set outward sprayed rows of twenty six rectangle baguette cut diamonds in open backrubover settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats, flanked by two rows of round old single cut diamonds on the opposing diagonal in open back grain settings thirty two in total, and two further set to centre with a combined weight of 1.00 carat for all thirty four. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.70 carats, all to a raised curved structure with linear openwork to a conforming finger gallery, leading to a solid flat shank. Markedplatinum and 'BO 518', circa 1950.
