 Description

Drayson diamond cocktail ring. Set with seventeen round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.75 carats, further set with eight rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.35 carats, to an asymmetric buckle ring featuring scrolling details, an openwork gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1945, accompanied by a fitted red leather box marked ‘DRAYSON 1., BURLINGTON GARDENS W’.
