Description

Diamond cocktail ring. Vertically set to centre with two round old cut diamonds in open back corner claw settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by two vertical rows of round old single cut diamonds in open back grain settings, eight in total with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.15 carats, to a heavy sculpted scrolling form with a conforming bezel and intricate pierced backholing, flanked by tapered shoulders to a solid flat shank. Marked white gold, French mark, circa 1940.
