Diamond bombé cocktail ring. Set to centre with one round old cut diamond, K colour, SI1 clarity, with a weight of 2.00 carats, in an open back claw setting flanked by a cluster of thirty round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 2.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.10 carats, to an impressive bombé cocktail ring, featuring four raised chamfered edge details, a polished scalloped detailed gallery and fancy open backholing, the broad integrated shoulders flowing through to a smoothly tapering D-shape shank. Marked platinum and gold, French, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #1236029161.
