Set to centre with one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.20 carats, flanked by a cluster of thirty round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.30 carats, to an impressive bombé cocktail ring, featuring four raised chamfered edge details, a polished scalloped detailed gallery and fancy open backholing, the broad integrated shoulders flowing through to a smoothly tapering D-shape shank. Marked platinum and gold, French, circa 1950.
