Diamond and sapphire ring. Set to centre with one round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.30 carats, further set with two tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with an approximate total weight of 0.60 carats, to an angular three stone design featuring a hexagonal bezel, ridged details and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum and 18 carat white gold, French, circa 1935.
