Set with two round old cutdiamonds in open backclawillusion settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.90 carats, further set to centre with a drop shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.30 carats, flanked by two scrolling rows of six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings, twelve in total with a combined weight of 0.36 carats, further set with three undulating rows of channel set tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back rubover settings, seventeen in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.56 carats, to an elegant trefoil openwork form, featuring millegrain edges, a solid bezel and intricately pierced open backholing, leading to ridged shoulders and flowing down to a solid tapering D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, French control mark, circa 1905.
