Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with a rectangular emerald-cut natural emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back double claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.69 carats, flanked by six round old single cut diamonds in platinum grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.06 carats, to intricate pierced curving claws and open back holing, flanked by elegant tapered shoulders and flowing down to a solid shaped shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1687.
