Colombian emerald and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to center with a rectangular emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.81 carats, flanked by eight round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.16 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws and millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and open fancy backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #22367.
