Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval step cut natural Colombian emerald with no oil, in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.40 carats, further set with sixteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.15 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery, and fancy shape open backholing, leading to broad shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by SSEF report #131301.
