Description

Yellow Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut natural unenhanced yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 10.53 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a linear flanked solitaire design featuring corner claws, polished edges, a geometric pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised trumpeting shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80248-54.
