Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.00 carats, encircled with twelve round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to a coronet cluster design with curving claws, polished scalloped edges, an intricately pierced collet and fancy open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank with ramps. Marked 18 carat white gold, numbered '5919', French control marks, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78166-98.
