 Description

Ceylon sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 5.70 carats, further set with six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, further adorned with six marquise shape diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring curving claws, polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting split shoulders flowing to a solid ridged shank.. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80270-96.
