Carved diamond and emerald five stone ring. Set with three round old cutdiamonds in open backclaw settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carat, alternated by two octagonal emerald-cutnaturalemeralds with no colour enhancement in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carat, further set with eight round rose cut diamond points in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.04 carats, all set to an intricately carved half hoop of ornate scroll motifs, with open backholing and leading down to a solid tapered D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1900.
