Centrally set with one cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open backclaw and grain setting with an approximate weight of 2.80 carats, flanked by six cushion shape old minediamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an impressive seven stone design featuring curving claws, an ornate carved gallery featuring scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders with ridge detail flowing through to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-999.
