Ruby and diamond crossover ring. Set with one central oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, diagonally flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a total weight of 0.60 carats, set to split scrolled shoulders set with ten round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a total weight of 0.40 carats. The combined approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to intricate pierced claws and backholing, flowing down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Tested rose gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1946.
