Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.91 carats, further set with ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.70 carats, to an elegant elongated coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to shoulders with chamfered detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '1609', circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-3186.
