Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to the centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.45 carats, further set with twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, flanked either side by trumpeting split shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab report #GRS2015-122550.
