A matching pair of earrings, each composed of an oval unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 10.90 , to a striking design featuring a concentric oval border, polished and oval open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and hinged clip and rubber backing, approximately 2.65cm in length. 18 carat yellow and , 'cts 5.45' and 'cts 5.42', signed 'BVLGARI', makers mark for Bulgari, Italian, accompanied with a fitted box, 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #81319-28, and letter of authenticity from Amanda Triossi, Bulgari specialist.
