Boucheron yellow Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural unenhanced yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 9.50 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half-rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to a geometric flank solitaire design featuring split curving claws, a pierced decorative gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'AV', signed 'BOUCHERON PARIS', French, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-37.
