Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.02 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.16 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, an openwork structured gallery and open backholing, the raised gently sloping shoulders, flowing smoothly down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked platinum, signed 'BOUCHERON PARIS', numbered 'X2969', French, circa 1935, accompanied by Carat Gem Lab report #06105 and Gem Paris Laboratoire report #20131971099-1.
