Belle Époque sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, further set with ten cushion shape old minediamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.25 carats, further adorned with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.14 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.39 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with engraved detailing and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting angled shoulders flowing through to a chamfered solid tapering shank. Marked 18 carat rose gold and settings testedplatinum, French control marks, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79218-62.
