Belle Époque diamondcluster ring. Set with a central round old cut diamond in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.35 carats, encircled by thirty six round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.85 carats, to an ornate cluster design featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, a decoratively pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, leading to split shoulders and flowing through to a tapered solid shank. Testedplatinum, numbered '1663', circa 1905.
