Set to centre with a cushion shape French cutnatural unenhanced Demantoid garnet in an open backgrain setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, further set with a hundred and forty four cushion shape old minediamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 2.00 carats, to an elegant marquisecluster design featuring an fine openwork bezel with foliate forms, an intricately pierced scalloped gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by split shoulders forming the base of the branches, flowing down to a solid tapered D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and settings testedplatinum, maker's mark 'B M with a dog in the middle' makers mark for Basset & Moreau', numbered '5090', French, circa 1905.
