Belle Époque diamond coronet cluster ring. Set centrally with a single cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 2.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.50 carats, to an elegant floral form featuring scalloped edging, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chevron details and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat gold and platinum, French, circa 1910.
