Belle Époque diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond, K colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 1.01 carats, in an open back rubover setting, surrounded by twelve cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.21 carats, to a coronet cluster design with millegrain edging, curving claws, an intricately pierced openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders flowing to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat rose gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #5181685800.
